Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of Wallingford (South Oxfordshire District), Reading Road; South Gate; in front of Angiers Almshouses, against wall of Almshouses, to right of front door/porch, on lawn, on East side of road. Reading half-round stone, erected by the Shillingford, Wallingford & Reading turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- OXFORD 13 READING 15 Carved benchmark on top. Grade II listed.
