Carved stone post by the A4130 (was A423), in parish of Remenham (Wokingham District), Remenham Hill; East of Remenham Place and Church Lane, on grass verge in base of open hedge, on North side of road. Hurley pillar, erected by the Hurley turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- XXXIV Miles To London To Henley I Rivet benchmark on top. Berkshire Archaeology HER.
