Here you have just crossed Westgate Bridge, between the dual carriageway of the A417 Ledbury - Gloucester road, coming from Gloucester. Turn left for the Docks and Lower Parting - the Severn splits here into two channels which rejoin to the north-east of Maisemore Image The Wharf House is an hotel and restaurant at Over Basin, owned and run by the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal Trust with all proceeds going towards the work of the Trust. The Gloucestershire Way runs from Chepstow on its 100 mile route to Tewkesbury. Time photo taken 4.24 pm BST (British Summer Time).
