Refurbishment work at Treherbert railway station

Viewed on November 9th 2017. The notice on the left states that refurbishment work which began on October 9th 2017 is part of the Access for All scheme led by Network Rail. The work includes installation of a new accessible ramp from the car park area to the platform with new lighting and CCTV coverage. The waiting room will have a new automated door operated by a push button. The station platform will be resurfaced with tactile paving. The work is expected to finish in Spring 2018. The electronic display shows departures to Cardiff Central every 30 minutes.
