The bridge, looking towards Bangor. The road remains closed following a bridge strike last week. Trafficwatch NI records (at the time of submission) “North Down - B170 Ballysallagh Rd Closed Indefinitely North Down - the B170 Ballysallagh Road (the road between Bangor and Dundonald /Craigantlet will remain closed in both directions indefinitely following damage to a bridge in a collision that occurred on Wednesday 22 November. Diversions are in place but motorists are advised to allow extra time for journeys. The closed section of road is between the A2 Belfast Road and the Crawfordsburn Road (to Newtownards) This closure is likely to cause traffic disruption during peak periods.”
