This isn't something to be taken lightly. People who get between a cow and its calf, and especially people with dogs who get between a cow and its calf, have been attacked and injured or even killed. Though I am curious why people would be using this particular gate in numbers large enough to warrant a warning, because the map suggests that the track doesn't really go anywhere in particular.
