This view of Cokethorpe School shows the main building built by Simon Harcourt, 1st Viscount Harcourt which became his usual place of residence. In 1713 he was appointed Lord Chancellor by Queen Anne and he received her on a state visit to Cokethorpe. For more details refer to picture Image
