Looking north-north west across the temporary car towards Salop Street and the Carillion offices building (formerly the Staffordshire Building Society). The distant thirteen floor red-brick tower-block on the right housed the headquarters of the Tarmac (now Lafarge Tarmac) company until it separated off the new Carillion plc building operation in 1999. The nearer two storey redbrick building belongs to Wolverhampton City Council.
