The row of terrace houses known as Crosby Villa first appear on the 1900 OS Map, but no pub is shown. By 1925, a Post Office is shown on this site, with the first record of a pub appearing on the 1970 OS Map, making it a very late addition to the State Management empire. Scheme records show it sold to Jennings Brothers Limited in 1973 for £14,800 (which may have included other properties). However, date of closure has yet to be found. Now a private dwelling with no public access. See also: Image] .
