Bridge No 11 across the Caldon Canal is the Ivy House Lift Bridge, an electrically powered structure operated by boat crews, which has replaced an earlier notoriously difficult to manage bridge. Looking west towards Hanley. The bridge has just been lowered, but the road barriers have yet to be raised.
