This walled up section was once a major entrance to the old Staunton House estate. For a number of years, the farm and stables were home to the Friends of Bristol Horses Society and opened the gates for its annual open day. Today, however, it is the home of Horseworld - the charity that the F.O.B.H.S. grew into. Following some declined efforts to sell some of the land for development, the site now has some significant housing works in progress. The many boards display the many commercial interests involved in a new housing development these days.
