The plaque reads “rebuilt 1866”. Although built in a grand style, this is quite a small building consisting of two office wings flanking an entrance arch leading to a small yard and at least one of the arches of the railway viaduct. Perhaps it belonged to the former confectionery factory beyond the viaduct?
