Quarry plant at Uttoxeter Quarry

Sand and gravel extraction began at Uttoxeter Quarry in 2001 and is due to last until 2023. After that, the site will be restored by 2025. Ultimately, part of it may be redeveloped as a marina at the terminus of a reinstated Uttoxeter Canal.
