Crescent Wood Tunnel, located just north of the Crystal Palace Park, in Sydenham Hill Woods. The Crystal Palace and South London Junction Railway ran from Nunhead to Crystal Palace High Level; opened in 1865, finally closed in 1954. The woods are managed by the London Wildlife Trust.
