A long telephoto view from the 100m crest of the road from Elmdon to Ickleton. Valance Farm Cottages are at the bottom of the picture and a red articulated lorry heads north on the M11. The lead-covered spire of Ickleton church shows on the right. The large buildings beyond are at the Genome Centre at Hinxton Hall. Some of the turbines of Wadlow Wind Farm show against threatening rainclouds on the skyline.
