Bounding the south side of Waterloo Street for a couple of hundred yards, this wall of slag blocks from blast-furnace waste was given a Grade II listing https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101207703-wall-of-slag-blocks-the-gorge#.Wbgw49QrLGg in 1983.
