A very old country pub dating probably from the 16th century or possibly the 17th. Originally a house but then converted into an inn. For many years it was known as the White Horse Inn, but in recent years the name has been abbreviated to the White Horse. However it still undertakes similar functions to a traditional inn, i.e. it offers accommodation, food and drink. There is a beer garden. It is an Arkell's house (Swindon based brewers), and is a Grade II listed building. Image
