Stone Lane used to meet the A46 but after the A46 was made a dual-carriageway racetrack, Stone Lane was closed to vehicles about half way along. The notice at the entrance explains that it can still be used by cyclists. This is the view in a field alongside Stone Lane just before High Walks Farm is reached.
