Statue of Henry Schneider, Barrow-in-Furness

Henry Schneider (1817 – 1887) was a British industrialist who played a leading role in the development of Barrow-in-Furness. The statue is situated on a roundabout on Duke Street at the intersection with Michaelson Road. Built in 1891, the statue is bronze on a granite pedestal.
