The viewpoint on Wotton Hill

The stand of trees was originally planted in 1815 to commemorate the victory at Waterloo. The walled enclosure and replanting was undertaken to celebrate the jubilee of Queen Victoria (1887). Inter-planted with new trees on the accession of Queen Elizabeth (1952)
