A cluster of buildings dating from the 17th to 19th century. The large house to the left of the terrace was the agent's house for the smelt mill in the valley below. Nearest the camera is the bothy where pack horses were stabled overnight, whilst the drovers slept in the loft above. Two alcoves for dovecotes can be seen in the gable end.
