Dating from the Victorian era (ca 1890), The Highland hotel was built on a grand scale. It occupies an elevated position above the town of Fort William. It is a Category B listed building (LB31796 http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB31796 Historic Environment Scotland)
