Chalk downland at Saltbox Hill

The chalk grassland on the slopes of Saltbox Hill is an important chalk downland Site of Special Scientific Interest. This view is from the steep path known as Crown Ash Hill which drops down from the junction of Saltbox Hill itself with Main Road Biggin Hill to reach Oaklands Lane. This field is not part of the SSSI which is on the opposite side of the path - see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5452796 This view has every appearance of deep remote countryside yet the built-up part of Biggin Hill is beyond the trees on the side of the valley to the left.
