Former Merchant Taylors' Almshouses, Broadmead

Dating from 1701 and now incorporated into the galleries shopping centre. Listed Grade II*. Having been a bank (at the time of listing) it is now occupied by a clothing chain. The gates and piers in the foreground are late 18th century and were erected here around 1970, having been brought from elsewhere. (Not stated in the listing). Listed Grade II*.
