The sea defence wall along the eastern section of Morecambe promenade has been rebuilt this year. This photo shows one of three promenade access points, where steps and ramps provide access over the wall. There are also several gaps in the wall which are normally kept open, but are fitted with damboards if a very high tide is predicted.
