Viewed across the A4048 Newport Road. This is as near its scheduled destination in Tredegar that this bus on route 56 from Newport reached. The blue-shirted bus driver is using a mobile phone to summon assistance. The problem was that the ramp warning system on the bus prevented the bus from proceeding despite the efforts of the driver to ensure the ramp was flush with the bus floor. There was no way for the driver to override the warning system. After the passengers had transferred to another bus, this bus finally moved away after the attentions of a bus mechanic.
