The virtual end of the A62 into Manchester. At the bottom of Oldham Road on the corner of Swan Street is the former Midland Bank Image It was built of Portland stone in 1922 to the designs of J.B. Whinney and is Grade II listed. It is now a branch of the Habib Allied International Bank Plc.
