The plaque to the left of the door says "THE LITTLE GEM. BUILT 1106 CIRCA. RESTORED 1958." Chris Whippet showed it as derelict in February 2016 but it had been clearly restored by the time I was here in June 2017. Chris gives some of the history - see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4830102
