Newsham Beck is a tiny stream almost hidden here in a boggy valley bottom. One wonders if this is a 'misfit' stream occupying a valley overdeepened by glacial meltwaters. Right of centre are circular structures which look like old sewage treatment pits associated with the former military camp which occupied land off to the right.
