The blue plaque commemorates 68 Market Street,the house of Miles Corbet, "Regicide and Recorder" who signed Charles The First's death warrant in 1649. After the Monarchy was restored Corbet was tried, hung, drawn and quartered on April 19 1662 at Tyburn for his crime.
