A cut above most of the city's Georgian houses, its proportions that little bit more refined. It was originally fifty per cent bigger, the excision of the left-hand three bays having ruined the symmetry. The pediment contains the city's coat of arms. It was built in 1791-92 by William Parker for the Duke of Norfolk. Grade II listed. Now a branch of Barclays Bank.
