Just off Hills Road near the station corner "easily overlooked ... a charming close of two short, middle-range 1860s terraces facing a gravelled garden" (Pevsner & Bradley, 2014). Still gaslit in 2017; note that, as with other surviving gas lamps in the city, the original clockwork timing mechanism, which required regular winding, no longer operates and the lamp now burns throughout the day and night.
