Former post office, Braintree

Opened in 1931; built to the designs of Office of Works architect David Dyke. There are many examples of Dyke's post office buildings still standing, although not all in post office use: there fine examples (all in a neo-Georgian style) at Bexhill-on-Sea, Maidstone, Basingstoke and Blandford Forum, to name but few.
