Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of LONGTOWN (0 District), Longtown, by Milestone House, opposite Old Greyhound PH, on pavement against stone boundary wall, on East side of road. Abergavenny stone, erected by the Chepstow District turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- Abergavenny 10 Grade II Listed.
