A memorial in the graveyard of St. Leonard's Church, Chapel le Dale. It is to Tom and Isobella Kilburn of the Hill Inn, dated 192x (the inscription has decayed a little). The anchor and chain, carved out of stone, usually symbolize Hope although it can mean that the person was an anchor of the family or community, or perhaps a mason.
