Silverwoods Way, also known as the Hoobrook Link Road, is the main road traversing the vast former British Sugar Corporation site. It is gradually being redeveloped but it is likely to be several years before the whole project is complete. So far there are several roads of housing and a new leisure centre. In this view, on the left, new housing is under construction, and just past the traffic light controlled pedestrian crossing, also on the left, is the entrance to Weir Crescent.
