The nave of the church is basically Norman and was originally aisleless. The south doorway,a south window and part of a north window are all Norman. In the mid 14th century the chancel was rebuilt and a north chapel added. The west tower is Perpendicular. However, an extensive restoration took place in 1888 which included new north and south aisles.
