Edgware LT station: looking north

Image: © Dr Neil Clifton Taken: 29 Mar 2017

When Edgware station was built, it was envisaged that it would not be a terminal station, but that the lines would extend further north, under the road, to reach an eventual terminus at Bushy Heath; however, Hitler's war put these extension plans on hold, and the terminus remained at Edgware. This photo, looking north, clearly shows that this was not the original intention.
