Dalmarnock Rail Bridge

There have been two Dalmarnock Railway Bridges. The first was constructed in 1861 but replaced in 1897 by the current one which is wider. The pillars of the old bridge were left in place as can be seen in the photo. Both of these were designed by George Graham and span the River Clyde.
