Baptist place of worship in Upper Bridge Street. The diamond shaped plaque above the door reads: Bethlehem Built AD 1789 John Stephen Minister Enlarged AD 1817 David Jones Minister Rebuilt AD 1855 James Jenkins Minister RCAHMW have the builder of the current chapel as Joshua Morris of Newport and give it a grade 2 listing as a little altered chapel in the Simple Gothic style.
