The junction of High Street with Surrey Street and Scarbrook Road is the site of this image. The firm of Millett's have occupied this prestigious corner plot for very many years, originally selling Army surplus gear and so on, but later broadening their range to include a variety of outside and camping equipment. But now they are selling out. To the left is the Surrey Street market, still busy but a little less so than years ago.
