The PAWS (Porthcawl Animal Welfare Society) charity shop is at 11 Lias Road, next door to Well Pharmacy. Run by volunteers, the shop is stocked with donations. Downstairs are rails of clothes, bricabrac and cabinets displaying jewellery and fancy goods. Upstairs is a large collection of secondhand books for sale. Porthcawl Animal Welfare Society is Registered Charity Number 509383.
