The children's nursery is on the corner of the A362 Portway and Portway Gardens. The building was erected in 1867 for a monumental mason. Behind the Portway Gardens sign is part of the former yard wall with MARBLE WORKS carved on it in raised letters. The building was Grade II listed in 1983.
