Dating from the 1860's and a Grade II listed building, old photographs show this entire block was once the Queen's Hotel, but the green doored premises may now be separate. While not mentioned by Seabury, other sources indicate the hotel was under State ownership from the Great War until sold for £35,750 on 24 May 1973 to a G W Sunley. Still trading. See also: Image] .
