Western Close is a very short cul-de-sac of council housing, whose carriageway stops short of the back row of houses, this grass patch filling the void. To the far right corner, we see a public footpath, number E43, heading through to East Howe Lane. See Image for a view out of the path, with links to further photos on the route.
