Memorial to Trooper Glendinning

This memorial in Allendale Town is to Trooper Glendinning who was killed in the Second Boer War at Klip Drift in 1902. It's surely unusual in its grandeur, especially for the time, for a private soldier. It was paid for by public subscription.
