The entrance boasts an enigmatic sculpture, by Bernard Meadows, 1969, of bronze balls squashed by slabs of concrete. Pevsner mischievously speculates that it may represent the concrete jungle crushing medieval Golden Ball Street. Nice signage too. Wider view: Image
