This branch of WH Smith was restored to its original (1927) condition in 1975. The nameboard shows BOOKSELLERS LIBRARIANS on the left, W H SMITH & SON in the middle and NEWSAGENTS STATIONERS on the right. The old-style theme is maintained inside, where there are wooden floorboards.
