The present school, with an enrolment of around 100, dates from 1958. It replaced an earlier school endowed by the Church of Ireland Primate Archbishop Robinson in 1780. The school stands alongside the B31 (Armagh-Newtownhamilton) road and is some 3 miles south of the city of Armagh.
