Halkshill Summerhouse stands above Halkshill House at Bellesdale. Halkshill House was built in the early 1800's for John Scott of Scott's Shipbuilders of Greenock. Halkshill House, Summer House - Mid 19th century. Octagonal-plan Gothic summerhouse. Ashlar. Pointed-headed hood-moulded window to each face, Gothic panelled door, with pointed-headed fanlight approached by steps on east face. Bracketed heavy eaves. Faceted slate roof. Category B-listed.
